Who We Are
Ajase-Ipo Comprehensive High School Old Students Association (ACHSOSA) represents the collective strength and passion of alumni dedicated to preserving and enhancing the legacy of our beloved alma mater. Born from the individual efforts of alumni reaching out to support the school, ACHSOSA has evolved into a legally registered national body, fostering unity and collaboration among former students across all class sets.
Over the years, alumni have generously contributed to the school through scholarships, infrastructural development, repairs and refurbishment, scholarships, sponsorship of extra-curricular activities, provision of educational materials and payments of staff salaries. These impactful projects, acts of kindness and charity created a culture of healthy rivalry among individuals and class sets which resulted in elevating the profile of the school with attendant increase in students enrollment and better performance in external examinations. However, the absence of a national umbrella body did not encourage interactions among old students across Class sets, coordination and collaboration of efforts and proper documentation of the positive interventions.
To address this, ACHSOSA was established with a formal constitution and registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) in order to satisfy necessary regulatory requirements, acquire legal status and enhance public credibility. This milestone marked the beginning of a new era for alumni, enabling the pooling of resources and the promotion of broad-based solidarity.
ACHSOSA is more than just an association; it is a thriving network that connects alumni professionally and socially. Members benefit from mentorship opportunities, career and business networking, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ajase-Ipo Comprehensive High School. From supporting current students with scholarships to funding transformative school projects, ACHSOSA members embody the spirit of service and gratitude.
Together, we are building a legacy that will inspire future generations and ensure the continued growth and excellence of our alma mater. Joining ACHSOSA is not just about reconnecting with old classmates; it is, more importantly, about writing the next chapter in the rich history of our alma mater.
Our Credo
We thank God that we are alive. For it is a privilege denied many. God did not grant us same blessings for we are each wealthy in different forms. And so we shall, one and all, cheerfully give of our endowments, be it money, materials, skills, intellect and goodwill and we shall nourish a rich legacy of humanitarian service that flourishes for generations.
